The Discovery Bay Football Club secretary and DBFC Vets manager Mr. Dirk Haddow is currently in UK to visit his son Jay at his new boarding school. While there Dirk and Jay took time out to travel to Winchester to see the long-time legend Robin Armstrong. Robin is one of the original members and founders of DBFC and had his fingers in every bit of football happening in Discovery Bay as well as all of Hong Kong. Everyone in the Hong Kong football scene, well definitely the older of us, knows and has played football with or against Robin. Robin is struggling with his health at the moment so Dirk carried with him all the best wish for recovery from every single member of DBFC as well as the Discovery Bay wider community. Hopefully Robin gets the chance to visit Hong Kong and join in some of the great football we are enjoying this season as well as the post-match celebrations. Cheers Robin!
