The Ampcontrol Discovery Bay Soccer Sevens team player selection and training for the 2023 HKFC Citi Soccer Sevens has commenced with former Hong Kong star forward and long term Discovery Bay resident Tim Bredbury taking the reins once again as head coach with fellow DB resident Gary Rolinson assisting.
Training this year has started very late giving only a few opportunities for Tim to disseminate his tactical knowledge from years of his experience playing in the sevens. However, there is a calm confidence of success running within the group and with the support of the team sponsors and Discovery Bay residents over the soccer sevens weekend (26 to 28 May 2023) it is lined up to be a very exciting weekend.
Despite the intense training sessions the team still had time to try out the new team playing shirts and line up for a team photograph.
