Got a good squad together for this Monday night game against what we know to be a strong KCC team. Stevie Lang and Yuen dropped out just before kick off and KCC controversially changed the pitch from Pitch 3 to Pitch 1 (much bigger) to make use of their younger players.

For the first twenty minutes we were under a lot of pressure with KCC starting very well and have a number of one on one chances which Ricky saved well.

Slowly we started to get back into the game, and took some measure of control and managed to get to half time at nil-nil.

Gary game off for Krisna – having put in a great shift coming back from injury. Was good to see him again spraying the ball round with ease. Enzo came on for Crommy.

Second half we were in total control creating chance after chance. Makito San dropping back to DM helped a lot and put some control on the energetic man from Tokyo. Makito San soon got his third assist in two games, floating a corner over to Tita who bulleted in the header. One nil soon became two nil, with Krisna putting Enzo through on goal for a tidy finish.

Crommy came on for Man of the Match Danny, who has to be one of the fittest players in the league, chasing relentlessly and breaking up play. Crommy sat in the middle, doing what Crommy does.

Against the run of play we conceded a fluke goal that Ricky thought was going out – but we managed to calm the nerves with an excellent goal on the counter that Krisna finished off for his first DBFC goal.

On to the cup game on Friday!
