A warm sweaty atmosphere awaited the Discovery Bay F.C and Revolution as they met at Aberdeen sports ground. Discovery Bay F.C took an early lead after 10 minutes, Gary Hancock providing the through ball for Ethan to outpace the centre back in customary fashion before calmly slotting past the goal keeper. Revolution equalised 5 minutes later following good work from their left winger who provided a the cross that was bundled home. Revolution’s parity did not last long however, as 5 minutes later Enzo helped DB regain the lead after being put through by Krisna. Enzo took his time before calmly attempting to slot around the keeper, who got one hand to it but couldn’t keep the ball out of the net. Ethan stretched DB’s lead shortly before half time after being put in on goal by Gary’s scooped through ball. Ethan calmly lobbed the keeper, tripped over the ball before regaining his composure to find the net.
As the second half began, Dan Moss rose like a wild Atlantic salmon to expertly caress a cross from Will goalwards only to be denied by a coat of paint on the far post. As the match went on, D.B struggled with the heat and were penned back in their own half. D.B had chances on the break to kill the game off but were wasteful in front of goal. They conceded a very harsh penalty as the ball span off the turf into a defenders hand before Revolution equalised through a wicked deflection which left Ricky stranded in goal .
