DBFC 4 : 1 J Leaguers

Always a tough game against J-Leaguers and so it proved where from the start J-Leaguers had lots of possession. DBFC were dealing with it quite well, but a poor clearance out the back allowed J Leaguers to get in behind us and score.
DBFC did not let their heads drop and quickly equalised through Ethan, getting on the end of good work from Enzo and Krisna.
DBFC defended well, soaked up pressure and started to create chances. Danny and big Ryan hand control of the midfield and Darius, with his new found fire causing lots of problems.
At the 20 minute water break we went in happy so far, with the upper hand.
Ryan and Brendan came off for breathers being replaced by Ohmey and Wai respectively. Ohmey was playing very well in CM with Danny and started to take control. Just before half time we went 2-1 up when from a corner the ball broke out to Danny on the wide, who crossed it in for David to score with his right foot.
Second half, Ryan and Harwood came back on and added some energy. Harwood soon got on the score sheet with a lung busting run to get on the end of an excellent assisting from Enzo, running onto it and slotting it in. Unfortunately this was a little too lung busting and a knackered Harwood had to be replaced at the next water break.
DBFC saw the game out and added another goal from Ethan on the counter to easily see out the game.

This was Enzo’s farewell game as he heads off to the USA for college. Best of luck Enzo!
