DBFC continued their winning start to the season but made this one extremely hard work.

A lack of defenders meant team manager Morse had to think outside the box and started with 3 at the back (Morse, Bryn and Ben) but after 20 minutes and going 2-0 down, Morse decided to get back in the box and play the usual 4-4-2 with Danny Loup slotting in to left back. Although 2-0 down DBFC had half a dozen great chances to score but were denied by bad luck, great saves from Soho keeper or the woodwork. DBFC pulled one back with a good passing move from midfield for Jordon to run into the box and drill an angled shot into the far corner. 5 minutes later Soho got their third goal from a corner that squirmed past flapping legs into the net at the near post. With only minutes left before half time, Jordon scored with a magic free-kick from 21 yards out to make the score 3-2 to Soho at half time.

DBFC pressed in the second half and had many golden chance they just couldn’t convert, while Soho had a few chances on the break but Ricky was there to save the day. It was looking like Soho were going to hang on for a win but 7 minutes from time the referee give a free kick 24 yards out that Jordon again produced a magic free kick to make it 3-3. DBFC upped the tempo yet again and smelt a win and with three minutes to go the ref awarded another free kick over on the left flank about 25 yards from the byline. This time Jordon turned provider; with all DBFC players in the box he curled in a great kick towards the far post and out of at least 4 DBFC players charging in it was Kafi that got a toe on it to claim the winner.

Only 4 made it back to the Pier Bar but Rob only stayed for a couple to leave the three amigos to enjoy the typhoon party until the last ferry at 11pm.
