DBFC 45s got back to winning ways on Monday 26 February with a convincing 4-0 league win against Revolution. No selection or rotation dilemmas for the Manager with a squad of only 11 making the long trek to HKIS. We went 1-0 up after 12 minutes after a long ball into the left channel by Morse found Mike C well past his comfort zone, Mike pulled the ball back from the by-line for Adam to strike home decisively. We got the all important second goal shortly before HT with an outstanding cross by Adam from LW which floated over Revo’s tall GK for Ben to tap home. 2-0 at HT and looking comfortable. Revo came back into the game shortly after HT and we had a period where we struggled to get the ball forward. However Morse and Neil OL kept things solid at CB and Mark in goal came off his line decisively on a couple of occasions to tidy things up. On 70 minutes we put the game out of reach with a great strike by Rudi from just outside the box. And shortly before FT Rudi applied another clinical finish after Revo failed to clear OB’s corner. An enjoyable game and good for everyone to get the full 80 minutes.
