DBFC 45s came from behind to get a 3-3 draw in our league game against SIA at KGV on Monday 27 May. We made a slow start to the game but went 1-0 up against the run of play after we built up some possession with Steve and Adam on our left side and got Kieran in behind the defence for a clinical finish. We then had a bad period and SIA capitalised with 2 goals from their quick CF . Ricardo should have made it 2-2 after being put through for another 1 on 1. At HT various game plans were suggested but the most obvious one was to be better in possession. We started the second half well but SIA went further ahead to put the game seemingly out of reach. However we made a spirited comeback with Bazz Brown scoring twice in the last 20 minutes as SIA tired – first a low shot from just inside the area and then a lob on the volley over the advancing GK. All was set for a long ride home to DB to be regaled with comparisons with Thierry Henry. Not the result or performance we hoped for but at least we got something out of the game.
