DBFC Vets 3 – 0 KCC Vets (forfeit)
KCC Vets advised with less than 24 hours to go that they could not field a team to play this fixture. This was disappointing because DBFC Vets had a very strong squad listed, many of which had manipulated arrangements (flights, holidays, parties, etc.) to make the game. Rearrangement of the fixture was not an option for DBFC Vets and the league award a forfeit win. However, DBFC did not want to waste the time and effort in getting people together and their organising to have a post-match xmas drinks at the Pier Bar, so used the booked pitch for a friendly game between themselves, with friends invited to make up numbers. It was a good run-around on the pitch and good banter at the Pier Bar after.
